August 18th was a big day for Nolan Schanuel.
Not only was the Angel's 2023 First Round pick called up to the major league, but Solaro Shades also announced his first signature colorway, "The Schanuel 1."
Schanuel was called up to the Major League after just 21 games in the minors, marking the fastest call-up since 2010 and makes Nolan the last US-born player to debut in just 40 days since 1979.
Schanuel is ready to make an immediate impact. Not only did he hit .447/.615/.868 through 289 plate appearances this season with Florida Atlantic, but he also hit .370/.510/.493 with 21 walks and just 10 strikeouts through 96 plate appearances in the minor league system before his historically fast call-up.
To celebrate the promotion, Solaro Shade's released the first look at The Schanuel 1s. His signature baseball sunglasses feature a photochromic purple lens with a translucent, high-impact material performance frame and white inset tips. Nolan's name will be inscribed inside the frame.
The Schanuel 1s are an incoming member of the Eclipse collection, which features a new frame shape and ventilated lenses to promote airflow and decrease fogging. Like all Solaro Shades, they'll be coming with 5 performance lenses: primary (purple), mirror, blackout (polarized), yellow glare-reduction and transparent safety lenses.
